From a single seat re-trim to a full custom interior, our attention to detail and quality remains the same. We believe that if a job is worth doing, then it’s worth doing properly. This is why we DO NOT sell seat cover kits. In our experience they do not fit nicely and there’s a reason for this. Most of the seats we work on have lost their shape and support over the years, hardly surprising given their age! This is largely due to wear in the padding or springs and even frame damage. If these problems are not checked and rectified first of all, then simply fitting a fresh cover will be a waste of your money – anyone who tells you otherwise is pulling the wool over your eyes (or a cheap cover set over your interior!).
This is how we do it:
We strip down each seat to inspect the condition of the springs and frames. Any necessary repair work is carried out first. The frames are then shot blasted and powder coated for an ‘as new’ finish. If there is wear and sag in the padding then this is replaced with new. Then, working from original patterns and using the best available materials, the seats are re-trimmed by hand to your own particular design and colour scheme. |
